Tenured and Tenure-Track Positions
The department anticipates openings for tenure-track and/or tenured positions starting September 2008. Applications are invited from qualified mathematicians in all field. Priority will be given to exceptionally promising research mathematicians. Applications are welcome at any time, but the review process starts in October 2007.
Applications should be sumbitted as described below and should include 1) the American Mathematics Society's Application Cover Sheet for Academic Employment, (2) a curriculum vitae, and (3) at least four letters of recommendation, including one which discusses in some detail the candidate's teaching qualifications.

Ralph Boas Assistant Professorships
Applications are solicited for three Ralph Boas assistant professorships of three years each starting in September 2008. These positions are non-tenure track. Applications are welcome at any time, but the review process starts December 1, 2007.
Applications should be submitted as described below and should include (1) the American Mathematics Society's Application Cover Sheet for Academic Employment, (2) a curriculum vitae, and (3) at least three letters of recommendation, including one which discusses in some detail the candidate's teaching qualifications.

Visiting Positions for 2008-2009
At the moment, all visiting and temporary teaching positions have been filled for 2007-2008.
 
The department expects to have a number of visiting teaching postions for the academic year 2008-2009. We will fill whatever positions are authorized sometime between March and June 2008.
Applications should be submitted as described below in the same manner as those for other positions and should include (1) the American Mathematics Society's Application Cover Sheet for Academic Employment, (2) a curriculum vitae, (3) a letter of recommendation about your teaching qualifications, and (4) a letter of recommendation indicating why your research interests relate to someone in the department.
