Abstract:
We present a refinement of the standard proof of Sharkovsky's theorem. We use ideas from the proof in the book of Alsedà, Llibre and Misiurewcicz as well as the characterization of Sharkovsky maximal orbits, which given independently by Coppel, by Alsedà, Llibre and Serra, and by Ho.
