The discussion sessions will be held on Thursdays under the supervision of the TAs.
Students whose last name initial is AL go to Tech M166 (Kreisle).
Students whose last name initial is MZ go to Tech L158 (Vaynberg).
Homework will be assigned daily but not collected. Several assignments will consists of Maple Worksheets, and these will be collected on the discussion session and graded by the TA.

There will be short quizzes based on the homework from previous lectures on the Thursday discussion sessions.
There will be two onehour Midterm Exams and one twohour Final Exam.
Calculators are not allowed in the exams. No makeup exams will be given. In the event of an extreme and well documented absence (such as hospitalization) the final may be weighted to count for the missing exam. In the case of a missed exam, contact the instructor as soon as possible.
The course will be graded as follows:
The lowest quiz score will be dropped in calculating the quizzes grade. There will be no makeup quizzes. If you miss a quiz it will be dropped as your worst quiz grade. The lowest maple worksheet grade will also be dropped.
If you want to change sections, or add/drop the course, please do so at the Math Department Office in Lunt.
Note: The homework is always immediately due, which means that it may be the subject of the quiz of the next discussion session. The Maple Worksheets (denoted as "WS") will be collected on the indicated due date.
