Graduate Research Opportunities for Women Conference
Graduate Research Opportunities for Women (GROW) is a conference for women-identified students interested in graduate school in the mathematical sciences.
- GROW is made possible by the Graduate School of Northwestern University, Office of the Provost-Northwestern University, Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences-Northwestern University, National Science Foundation, and the Department of Mathematics-Northwestern University as well as in cooperation with the Association for Women in Mathematics.
- This conference supports the Non-Discrimination Statement of the Association of Women in Mathematics.

Association for Women in Mathematics: https://sites.google.com/site/awmmath/home- The purpose of the Association for Women in Mathematics is to encourage women and girls to have active careers in the mathematical sciences as well as promote equal opportunity and the equal treatment of women and girls in the mathematical sciences.
- The goal of the new Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Mentor Network is to match mentors, both men and women, with girls and women who are interested in mathematics or are pursuing careers in mathematics.
National Science Foundation Mentoring Program: http://www.math.ias.edu/wam
- Since 1994 with the support of the National Science Foundation, the Institute, together with Princeton University, has hosted an intensive 11-day mentoring program for undergraduate and graduate women in mathematics. The program brings together research mathematicians with undergraduate and graduate students on the campus of the Institute for Advanced Study and is designed to address issues of gender imbalance in mathematics. Activities include lectures and seminars on a focused mathematical topic, mentoring, discussions on peer relations, an introduction to career opportunities and a women in sciences seminar.

- The EDGE Program is administered by Morehouse and Pomona Colleges with the goal of strengthening the ability of women students to successfully complete PhD programs in the mathematical sciences and place more women in visible leadership roles in the mathematics community. Along with the summer session, EDGE supports an annual conference, travel for research collaborations, travel to present research and other open-ended mentoring activities.
