9. Satisfactory Academic Progress
To remain eligible for all forms of financial aid, students must meet the criteria for satisfactory academic progress set by The Graduate School and the Mathematics Department. In addition, students must fulfill the Preliminary Exam requirement set by the department. For students who are unable to make satisfactory academic progress, the department follows the TGS policies for academic probation and dismissal. Students wishing to appeal a dismissal decision should follow the appeal process guidelines set forth by TGS.
