The Midwest Probability Colloquium has been an annual event for several decades. It brings together a wide-breadth of knowledge in the field of probability. Sponsors of the Midwest Probability Colloquium are the National Science Foundation and Northwestern University.Probability theory has been the most applicable branch of pure mathematics. During the last decade it has seen a clear surge in popularity of probabilistic tools and methods in other branches of pure and applied mathematics. 45th Midwest Probability Colloquium
MPC 2024 was held at Northwestern University on October 10-12, 2024 and featured the following speakers:
Vadim Groin (University of California, Berkeley), Allan Sly (Princeton University), Tai Melcher (University of Virginia), Dmitry Chelkak (University of Michigan), and Erhan Bayraktar (University of Michigan). The 2024 MPC was organized by the Scientific Committee: Antonio Auffinger (Northwestern University), Ewain Gwynne (University of Chicago), Elton Hsu (Northwestern University), Greg Lawler (University of Chicago), Hao Shen (University of Wisconsin, Madison), and Yichao Wu (University of Wisconsin, Madison).
