NU WOMEN IN MATHEMATICS (WIM)

Women In Mathematics (WIM) is an active group of those who identify as women in the Department of Mathematics at Northwestern University organized in October 2004.  The members of the group are faculty, instructors, postdocs, and graduate students. WIM is specifically aimed at graduate students and aboveOur activities include monthly meetings for the women in the department, informal discussions of issues facing women in mathematics, panels on specific topics of interest to women in the department, an undergraduate mentoring program, and sponsoring speakers in all seminars in the math department.
