Math Student Groups
NESP (Northwestern Emerging Scholars Program)
- NESP offers a fun, social, and stakes-free introduction to mathematics seldom seen in high school or first-year college courses. In addition to weekly mathematical explorations lead by undergraduates (and fueled by pizza), NESP participants have the chance to meet students and faculty at a variety of social and speaking events.
Northwestern Undergraduate Math Society (NUMS)
-
NUMS currently meets on Wednesdays at 5p in Lunt Hall Rm 104. Refreshments are provided.
- The Northwestern Undergraduate Math Society (NUMS) brings together students who, regardless of their majors, share an interest in mathematics. NUMS sponsors academic and social events throughout the year.
- NUAWM, NU's Association for Women in Mathematics, welcomes all students of all genders who are interested in math, applied math, and statistics.
