Several of our Northwestern University Mathematics faculty members are involved with the following institutes and centers listed below.
 
Institute for Mathematical and Statistical Innovation (IMSI)

The Institute for Mathematical and Statistical Innovation is a mathematical sciences research institute funded by the National Science Foundation. It is managed by the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is hosted at the University of Chicago.

The NSF-Simons Center for Quantitative Biology (CQuB) is a place where mathematical scientists and developmental biologists intensely work together on a broad range of questions arising from investigations into the biology of animal development.
